The project aims to introduce a solution for a multi-protocol environment. The proposed device that represents the ultimate goal of the project will act as an interpreter between different communication media, representing the project’s main deliverable. Furthermore, we propose to have a smart device to estimate the channel performance and decide the optimum communication media as the channel performance change over time. Hence, we will use artificial intelligence and self-learning approaches to determine the best communication media during the day. Another deliverable of the project is the models for different communication media and their change over time-based on the fractional calculus for the first time. We introduce a system that is an essential step through deploying for the first time a hybrid network to collect IoT data. The project will expand our understanding of communication protocols, artificial intelligence algorithms, and physical interface models.
